CHARACTER SERIES: Pokemon (anime), specifically Pokemon Crystal: Raikou - the Legend of Thunder special/movie, although he also has a brief cameo where he and his partner have successfully captured a Rayquaza in the beginning of the ninth movie.

Backtagging: always!
Threadhopping: for serious threads, no, unless with permission. For silly/just for fun threads, feel free!
Fourthwalling: your character can acknowledge the existence of the Pokemon games or franchise in their world, but direct references to the TV anime, specials, or their characters are a no-go. Don’t tell him he’s fictional!
Offensive subjects (elaborate): IC, muse is a crass criminal, OOC, I’m sex-repulsed and can’t stand sexually explicit things. Would also strongly prefer avoiding suggestive things, in general. Nothing blasphemous either—but it’d be a wonder how you’d bring that up around this muse!

Injuring this character (include limits and severity): he deserves it, he beat up a young teenaged girl who interfered with his plans (off-screen, but still…), it’s fine, cut him, scratch him up, bruise him, give him a black eye, etc., but for longer lasting injuries like broken bones or a scar, ask first.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: ask first, but it’ll probably be a yes!
Warnings:
Buson is a crass, violent, and cruel criminal and a high-ranking member of the Pokemon world’s equivalent of the mafia. His job involves beating and torturing people, he tends to view all other non-human creatures with great arrogance, believing all creatures exist for humans to use as tools. He isn’t very nice to women or children either, although he will try to encourage them to just run away and not interfere, rather than go straight to attacking them.
If your character isn’t getting in his way, he’s typically laidback, playful, pleasure-seeking, and can even be good company! He’s certainly friendlier than his partner. The dub goes the extra mile and claims he’s fond of Caterpie and worked on a ranch when he was younger, which, while not accurate to the original dialogue, does seem to fit his (relatively) gentler nature.
